San Ramon, CA – 21.06.2022. With more than 400 members worldwide, the EnOcean Alliance is one of the most successful alliances in the area of energy monitoring and control, utilization optimization as well as health & wellness improvement. The open non-profit organization supports its members with tailor-made, agnostic materials and content for educational and promotional purposes to demonstrate the benefits of the interoperable EnOcean ecosystem for industrial, commercial and retail environments based on the EnOcean wireless standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3-10/11).

The latest addition to the content collection is a video series explaining the EnOcean technology and world. The 24 videos in social media format (60- 90 seconds each) give an introduction to all parts of the EnOcean technology and its ecosystem. They are divided into four categories, i.e.

  • General information (energy harvesting, self-powered wireless, product types, application areas, etc.)
  • Information for developers (EnOcean Alliance Specifications – EEPs, security, remote commissioning, certification, etc.)
  • Application Areas & Case Studies (smart homes, smart spaces, smart buildings)
  • Installations (wireless range planning, interoperability, troubleshooting, wireless standards, etc.)

The new video series is the latest addition to our existing video collection consisting of “50 Global Leaders”, our sustainability video series with Microsoft, T-Systems, Dussmann, EnOcean and Rutronik, and the smart spaces video teasers “The Art of Going Smart”.

At the disposal of the EnOcean Alliance are also new infographics as well as Social Media teaser posters covering the EnOcean Alliance’s four pillars – smart homes, smart spaces, smart buildings and sustainability. The new materials are launched with the organization’s website revamped and simplified, containing additional key information.
